Obverse (at 12 o’clock) LVDOVICVS. XIIII. D: G. FRANC. ET. NAV. REX. Crowned shield of France beneath a sun which cuts across the legend.
Reverse (at 12 o’clock) (variant) CHRISTVS. REGNAT. VINC. ET. IMP. (date). Fleur-de-lis-adorned ringed cross; (mint mark) in the centre.

Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! With an old handwritten label.
NGC AU 58 (8769662-026).
Regularly struck, slightly off-centre on the obverse. The inscription ‘VINC’ on the reverse has a large space before the ‘C’! Patina with golden-brown highlights. Superb.
