Childlike head of the King facing right, wearing a laurel wreath, with a lock of hair falling down onto the neck; below (date). Rev. .CHRS. - .REGN. - .VINC. - .IMP. A cross formed of eight interlocking Ls, each arm crowned, with (mint mark) within a heart-shaped circle, flanked by four lilies radiating from the centre. Dy.1422 - G.245 - Fr.418; Gold - 6.72 g - 25 mm - 6 h Top Pop (5): this is the finest graded specimen! PCGS MS63 (56278492). Beautifully fresh and well struck, with golden highlights. Superb in mint condition.
