Louis XIV (1643–1715). Twelfth of a Navarre scullion with a long lock of hair, 1654, Saint-Palais.
Obv. LVD. XIIII. D. G... – FR. ET. NA. REX. Childlike bust of the King facing right, wearing a laurel wreath, draped and clad in an ancient-style cuirass, with the Order of the Holy Spirit, a long lock of hair falling over the cuirass; below (variant).
Rev. (variant) SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTVM. (date). Crowned shield, divided into the coats of arms of France and Navarre.

With a fairly wide flan and a centred strike. Wear is even and the grey patina is old. Slight weakness of strike on the bust. TTB.
