The King’s full-face portrait on the right, bareheaded; below (date). Rev. .CHRS. – .REGN. – .VINC. – .IMP (variant). A cross formed of eight interlocking Ls, each arm crowned, with (mint mark) within a heart-shaped circle, flanked by four lilies radiating from the centre. Dy.1430 – G.248 – Fr.425; Gold – 6.74 g – 23 mm – 6 h A few brown traces of rolling on the reverse. Barely rubbed. Slight golden patina.
