Obv. (variant) LVD. XIIII. D. G (sun) – FR. ET. NAV. REX. Laureate head of the King facing right, with short hair; (date) below.
Rev. CHRS – REGN – VINC – IMP (various). A cross formed of eight L’s joined back-to-back, each arm crowned, with (mint mark) within a heart-shaped circle, superimposed upon a hand of justice and a sceptre arranged in a cross.

A fine, almost complete re-strike. With a fairly wide blank and a centred strike. The original lustre is barely tarnished by handling marks. Superb in Proof condition.
