Head of the King facing left, wearing a headband, with the monogram ‘JCR’ on his neck; below (variant). Rev. SIT. NOMEN. DOMINI. BENEDICTUM (variant) (date). Oval, crowned coat of arms of France, between two olive branches, below (mint mark). Dy.1684 - G.284; Silver – 1.46 g – 18.4 mm – 6 h This is the second-highest grade! NGC MS 63 (8235285-019). Only 26,440 examples according to Clairand. All coins were struck in the second half of the year. They feature a wide flan and a uniform strike. Attractive patina with iridescent highlights.
