Obv. LUD. XV. D. G. FR. – ET NAV. REX. Head of the King facing left, wearing a laurel wreath, the base of the neck draped, with the signature R. FIL., below (variant).
Rev. CHRS. REGN. VINC. IMPE (variant) (date). Slanted oval escutcheons of France and Navarre, beneath a crown, with the mint mark below.

Rare variety with the mint mark ‘A’ struck over an ‘X’! Fine finishing lines. Beautiful golden patina with greenish highlights. Superb in proof condition.
