Obverse: LVDOVICV[S]* DALPhI[S]* VIE. A quartered shield, with France in the 1st and 4th quarters, and Dauphiné in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, surmounted by a large reclining dolphin.
Reverse: + [S]IT* NOMEN* DNI* BENEDICTM. A fleur-de-lis cross resting on a leafy octolobe.
