Obverse: Single-sided.
Reverse: REIGN OF LAW (clover) (date) (diamond). The Genius of France engraving the word CONSTITUTION (in two lines) on a tablet of the law resting on an altar, flanked by a fasces surmounted by a pike with a cap of liberty on the left, and a cockerel on the right. In the exergue: DE LA LIBERTÉ / (date).
