Constitution (1791–1792). Trial die of Rochon’s ‘dixain’, in bronze and large module, Special Strike (SP) 1791, Lyon.
Obverse: BELL METAL. Within a circle: DIXAIN; small fleur-de-lis in the exergue.
Reverse: Within an endless oak wreath: 1791.

PCGS SP63RB (58337226).
Special Strike (SP) with a smooth edge. Re-strike according to PCGS. The blank is barely cracked beneath the strike. The original colour remains visible but a brown patina is forming. Superb in Proof condition.
