Constitution (1791–1792). Trial coin of the Rochon dixain, struck in copper and of medium size, Special Strike (SP) 1791, Lyon.
Obverse: BELL METAL. Within a circle: DIXAIN; small fleur-de-lis in the exergue.
Reverse. Within a wreath formed of two oak branches: (date).

PCGS SP Genuine Repaired-UNC Detail (58337225).
On a copper blank, with a smooth edge (PCGS Maz-205 but 24 mm!). Field slightly scraped on the reverse. Beautiful brown patina. Superb.
