Reverse: MESSAGE FROM THE KING TO THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY, General Thouret. In the centre, an inscription in nine lines: THE WILL/ OF THE PEOPLE IS/ NO LONGER IN DOUBT/ FOR ME:/ I ACCEPT THE/ CONSTITUTION./ 13 SEPTEMBER/ YEAR III OF/ LIBERTY. Maz.248 v.
