Convention (1792–1795). Trial coin in the 1 sol denomination bearing the name and effigy of Louis XVII, Special Strike (SP) No Date (1794), Paris.
Obverse: LOUIS XVII KING – OF THE FRENCH. Bust of the young Louis XVII facing left; below: ESSAI.
Reverse: REIGN OF LAW. The Genius engraving the word CONSTITUTION between a Phrygian cap and a triangle, with two stars below; signature DUPRE on the base of the altar; in the exergue: REPUBLIQUE / FRANÇAISE.
