Convention (1792–1795). Trial coin of 1 sol in red copper, by Dupré, Special Strike (SP) 1792, Paris.
Obverse: REGNE DE LA LOI. The Genius engraving the word CONSTITUTION between a Phrygian cap and a triangle, with two stars below; signature DUPRE on the base of the altar; in the exergue: REPUBLIQUE / FRANÇAISE.
Reverse: Within an oak wreath: PIÈCE / D’ESSAI. / (date).
