Description
FRANCE - FRANCE First Empire / Napoleon I (1804–1814). 1 franc, Revolutionary Calendar Year 13 (1805), A, Paris. Obverse: NAPOLEON EMPEREUR. Bare head facing right, with the signature ‘Tiolier’ below. Reverse: RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. Within a wreath formed of two branches: 1 FRANC, with (variant) AN (date) and (mint mark). G.443 - F.201; Silver - 5.02 g - 23 mm - 6 h PCGS Genuine Cleaned-UNC Detail (58336855). This specimen has seen little circulation. There are some hairlines on the obverse. The patina is slightly golden, over the original lustre. Superb in Proof condition.
