Description
FRANCE - FRANCE First Empire / Napoleon I (1804–1814). Half-franc, Revolutionary Calendar Year 13 (1804), A, Paris. Obverse: NAPOLEON EMPEREUR. Bare head facing right, with the cursive signature ‘Tiolier’ below. Reverse: RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. Within a wreath formed of two branches: DEMI FRANC, with (variant) AN (date) and (mint). G.395 - F.174; Silver - 2.54 g - 18 mm - 6 h PCGS Genuine Cleaned-UNC Detail (58336856). Slightly scuffed on the obverse field, and minimal signs of handling. The original lustre is present beneath a light patina with golden highlights. Superb, near-mint condition.
