First Empire / Napoleon I (1804–1814). 2-franc module, depicting the King and Queen of Bavaria’s visit to the Paris Mint, by Tiolier, Special Strike (SP) 1810, Paris.
Obverse: MAXIMILIEN JOSEPH. On an entablature, the crowned coat of arms of Bavaria supported by two crowned lions.
Reverse: Inscription in 7 lines: L.L. M.M. / THE KING AND QUEEN / OF BAVARIA / VISIT THE IMPERIAL MINT / OF PARIS / ON 5 FEBRUARY / 1810.

Special strike (SP) in medal form with the edge inscribed in intaglio: + BALANCE WHEEL WITH CAGE ADOPTED IN 1803. Featuring slightly satin-finished reliefs on mirror-like fields covered with a delicate patina. Superb in mint condition.
