FRANCE - FRANCE Louis XVIII (1814–1824). 5 francs, dressed bust, 1815, A, Paris. Obverse: LOUIS XVIII ROI – DE FRANCE. Dressed bust of Louis XVIII facing left, with the signature ‘TIOLIER F.’ below. Reverse: PIECE DE – 5 FRANCS. Crowned coat of arms of France, between two laurel branches, with (variant) (date) (mint) below. G.591 – F.308; Silver – 25.03 g – 37 mm – 6 h This is the second-highest grade (3)! PCGS MS65 (58336928). Presents a burnished flan appearance, with the strike velvety texture barely visible on the high reliefs and a beautiful lustre. Minimal scratches on the reverse. Almost proof condition.
