Dressed bust of Louis XVIII facing left, with the signature ‘TIOLIER F.’ below. Reverse: PIECE DE – 5 FRANCS. Crowned coat of arms of France, between two laurel branches, with (variant) (date) (mint) below. G.591 – F.308; Silver – 24.96 g – 37 mm – 6 h This specimen is presented as the finest known on the CGB’s ‘Ideal Collection’ website. PCGS Genuine Cleaned-UNC Detail (58336930). Slightly scuffed with hairlines on the obverse. Slight wear on the high reliefs. Superb / Superb, near proof.
