Description
FRANCE - FRANCE Louis XVIII (1814–1824). 10 centimes, struck at Antwerp, bearing the King’s cipher, without the initial ‘1814’, Antwerp (Arsenal Mint). Obverse: ANVERS. The cipher of Louis XVIII within a crown formed of two branches. Below, (date). Reverse: MONNAIE OBSIDIONALE. In the centre: 10 / CENT. G.193a - Colaert 12; Bronze - 24.18 g - 34.3 mm - 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! PCGS AU58 (58337024). The edge is filed at an angle. The strike is slightly off-centre. With a brown patina. Superb.
