FRANCE - FRANCE Louis XVIII (1814–1824). 5 centimes, Antwerp mint mark, bearing the King’s cipher, JLGN type, Special Strike (SP) 1814, Antwerp (Arsenal Mint). Obverse: ANVERS. The cipher of Louis XVIII within a crown formed of two branches; the signature J. L. – G. N. on the ribbon. Below, (date). Reverse: MONNAIE OBSIDIONALE. In the centre: 5 / CENT. G.131b 5) – Colaert 28d; Brass – 12.71 g – 30.9 mm – 12 h This is the second-highest grade! PCGS SP58 (58337025). Special Strike (SP) in medal quality on a brass blank, with a smooth edge. Only 8 examples known, according to Gadoury. With a light patina, barely stained, over the original yellow colour. Superb.
