Reverse. In the field, in eight lines: LL. AA. RR. / THE PRINCE / OF SALERNO, / HER LORDSHIP, / THE DUCHESS OF BERRY / VISIT THE PARIS MINT / ON 22 JULY 1825.

Leopold Jean Joseph Michel de Bourbon, Prince of Naples and Sicily, later of the Two Sicilies, and Prince of Salerno (1790–1851), was the fifteenth child of King Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies and his wife Marie-Caroline of Austria. He was the younger brother of Francis I, King of the Two Sicilies (1825–1830), who was the father of Marie-Caroline, Duchess of Berry, who was therefore visiting with her uncle.
