Obverse: NAPOLEON EMPEREUR. Laureate head facing right, signature BRENET and, below, ‘Tr’ in cursive.
Reverse: ‘EMPIRE FRANÇAIS’. Within a wreath formed of two branches: ‘5 FRANCS’, below which (variant) (date). (mint mark).

PCGS Genuine Cleaned-AU Detail (49615148).
A few scattered scratches on the fields, and minor handling marks. Wear is minimal, with a slight patina, with golden highlights, on the original lustre. Superb.
