FRANCE - FRANCE Louis XVIII (1814–1824). 20 francs, bareheaded, off-centre strike, 1820, A, Paris. Obverse: LOUIS XVIII – KING OF FRANCE. Bare head of Louis XVIII facing right, with the signature ‘MICHAUT F’ and ‘(different)’ below. Rev. Crowned coat of arms of France, between two laurel branches, flanked by ‘20 – F’, with ‘(different)’ (date) (mint). Chort EM411 – G.cf. 1028 – F.cf. 519 – Fr.cf. 539; Gold – 6.33 g – 21 mm – 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! PCGS VG10 (56278464). Rare mint error with the reverse struck off-centre by approximately 15 per cent! Even wear.
