Charles X (1824–1830). Set of 2 medals, commemorating the completion of the Palais de la Bourse and the Commercial Court, by Petit, 1825, Paris.
Obverse: LOUIS XVIII – CHARLES X. Side-by-side busts of Louis XVIII and Charles X on the left; below, the signature PETIT F.
Reverse: PALAIS DE LA BOURSE ET DU TRIBAL DE COMMce/ ACHEVÉ EN 1825. The City of Paris, seated on the right, hands over the keys to the allegories of Commerce and the Stock Exchange, in front of the Palais de la Bourse de Commerce; legend in the exergue and, below, the signature L. M. PETIT INV. ET F.

In a lovely red imitation-leather case bearing the coat of arms of the City of Paris and a border of lilies.
Only minimal signs of handling and slight patina; iridescent on the silver medal and brown on the bronze one. One clasp on the case is missing. Superb, in mint condition.
