G.1127a – Maz.1057a – VG.2747 – Théret/Taillard 4065.b.1; Gold – 34 mm – 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! NGC MS 61 (4188056-003). With a three-banded raised edge: *** DIEU / PROTEGE / LA FRANCE. Special strike with satin-finish relief on a mirror-finish field. Minor scratches and handling marks on the fields, with a few fine scratches on the obverse. Slight golden patina and the original lustre around the reliefs. Very rare, with only 11 specimens struck according to Théret and Taillard.
