FRANCE - FRANCE Second Republic (1848–1852). 1 franc Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte 1852, A, Paris. Obverse (variant) LOUIS-NAPOLEON BONAPARTE (variant). Bare head facing left; below, the signature BARRE. Reverse: REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. Within a wreath formed of two branches: 1 FRANC (date) and below (mint mark). G.458 - F.212; Silver - 5 g - 23 mm - 6 h This is the second-highest grade (4)! PCGS MS67 (56278434). Virtually in mint condition, with satin-finish relief on mirror-like fields, all overlaid with a marvellous iridescent patina, predominantly golden on the obverse and bluish on the reverse. Micro-scratches on the cheekbone on the obverse. Uncirculated.
