Obverse: NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR. Bare-headed head facing right, with the signature ‘BARRE’ below.
Reverse: EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. Imperial coat of arms resting on a crowned mantling and crossing the sceptre and the hand of justice, flanked by 100 – FRs; below: (mint) (date) (variant).
