Obverse: NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR. Bare head facing right, with (variant) and the signature ‘BARRE’ below.
Rev. EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. Imperial coat of arms resting on a crowned mantle and crossing the sceptre and the hand of justice, flanked by ‘50 – FR’; below (mint mark) (date) (variant).

A few scratches, particularly on the bust. With a slightly matt golden patina, missing only from the upper parts. Minor knocks on the rim on the reverse. Superb in mint condition.
