Laureate head facing right, with ‘différent’ below and the signature ‘BARRE’. Rev. EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. Imperial coat of arms resting on a crowned mantling and surmounting the sceptre and the hand of justice, flanked by 50 - FR; below (mint mark) (date) (variant). G.1112 – F.548 – Fr.582; Gold – 16.12 g – 28 mm – 6 h This is the second-highest grade (6)! NGC MS 63 (2183765-005). With a slightly matt patina and only minute marks on the high reliefs, as well as very fine hairline scratches on the obverse.
