Laureate head facing left, with the signature ‘BARRE’ below. Reverse: EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. Imperial coat of arms resting on a crowned mantling and crossing the sceptre and the hand of justice, flanked by 5 - F; below (variant) (date) (variant). G.739 – F.331; Silver – 37 mm – 6 h Top Pop (2): this is the finest graded specimen! NGC MS 64 (8539978-001). This year of issue is rare, and even more so in this grade! Tiny marks, particularly on the cheekbone. The patina is grey with bluish highlights. Superb in mint condition.
