FRANCE - FRANCE Second Empire / Napoleon III (1852–1870). 5 francs, laureate head, 1867, A, Paris. Obverse: NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR (mint mark). Laureate head facing left, with the signature ‘BARRE’ below. Rev. EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. Imperial coat of arms resting on a crowned mantling and surmounting the sceptre and the hand of justice, flanked by 5 - F; below (variant) (date) (variant). G.739 - F.331; Silver - 37 mm - 6 h PCGS MS63 (52026252). Beautifully fresh, with the mint finish slightly scratched on the surface and minimal scratches in the fields. Superb in mint condition.
