Second Empire / Napoleon III (1852–1870). 1 franc trial coin with laureate head, reverse featuring an olive wreath, smooth edge, 1860, E, Paris.
Obverse: NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR (different). Laureate head facing left, with the signature ‘BARRE’ below.
Rev. EMPIRE FRANÇAIS. Within a wreath formed of two olive branches: ‘1 FRANC’ (date) and a small anchor; in the exergue (mint mark).
