Obverse: RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE (date). Head of the Republic facing left as Ceres, with the signature OUDINÉ below.
Reverse: LIBERTE. EGALITE. FRATERNITE. Within a wreath formed of two branches, beneath a star: 10 CENTIMES (variant) (mint mark) (variant).

Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! May have come from the Chirico collection, then the Palombo 7 sale, 13 June 2009, lot 461.
NGC MS 65 BN (3154398-009).
In its struck condition with the original red colour around the raised areas and a brown patina in the fields. Very rare. Mint condition.
