Third Republic (1870–1940). 25-centime trial coin, Lindauer competition, small module 1913, Paris.
Obverse: ‘RF’ around the central perforation, surmounted by a Phrygian cap, all within a wreath formed of two branches; signature ‘EM. LINDAUER’.
Reverse: ‘LIBERTÉ. ÉGALITÉ / FRATERNITÉ’. Central perforation flanked by two olive branches and ‘25 – CMES, ESSAI’ beneath ‘MES’; below, the date and the monogram ‘EEL’.

No variations, but with the EEL monogram after the date. A special strike with satin-finished reliefs. The small module is harder to find than the large one! Superb in Proof condition.
