FRANCE - FRANCE Third Republic (1870–1940). Lindauer 10-centime nickel proof coin, Special Strike (SP) 1914, Paris. Obverse: ‘RF’ around the central hole surmounted by a Phrygian cap, all within a wreath formed of two branches; signature ‘EM. LINDAUER’. Reverse: LIBERTÉ. ÉGALITÉ / FRATERNITÉ. Central perforation flanked by two olive branches and ‘10 - CMES, ESSAI’ beneath ‘MES’; below (variant) (date) (variant). GEM.39.EP – Maz.2188; Nickel – 8.04 g – 21 mm – 12 h This is the second-highest grade! PCGS SP66 (56278510). Special Strike (SP) in medal strike. A tiny mark on the 0 in 10 on the obverse; otherwise close to its mint condition with a slight grey patina. Almost Proof.
