French State (1940–1944). 50-centime Pétain trial coin in silver-plated bronze, fluted edge, ND (1941), Paris.
Obverse: Bust of Marshal Pétain facing left, with collar and signature ‘L. BAZOR’.
Reverse: ‘ETAT FRANÇAIS’. A francisque between two ears of corn; monogram ‘LB’ and ‘ESSAI’ at the top.
