French State (1940–1944). Lindauer 10-centime trial coin, small 1944 die, Paris.
Obverse: ‘RF’ around the central perforation, surmounted by a Phrygian cap, all within a wreath formed of two branches; signature ‘EM. LINDAUER’.
Reverse: ‘LIBERTE. EGALITE. FRATERNITE’. Central perforation flanked by two olive branches and the number 10 - CMES; ‘ESSAI’ vertically within the ‘0’ of ‘10’; below (date) and ‘les’ (various) on either side.
