Obverse: ‘RF’ around the centre hole, surmounted by a Phrygian cap, all within a wreath formed of two branches; signature ‘EM. LINDAUER’. Reverse: ‘LIBERTE. EGALITE. FRATERNITE’. Centre hole flanked by two olive branches and ‘20’ - CMES; below (date). GEM.54.1 - Maz.-; Aluminium - 24 mm - 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! PCGS SP61 (43222259). With incomplete date 19-- (minted in 1945?). Only 6 copies known, according to Taillard and Arnaud. Slight oxidation and cleaned edges. Very rare. Superb.
