FRANCE - FRANCE Fifth Republic (1958 to the present day). 5-centime silver Marianne coin, burnished proof 1966, Paris. Obverse: RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE. Dressed bust of the Republic with long hair facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap; signed LAGRIFFOUL. Reverse: LIBERTE. EGALITE / FRATERNITE. Within a wreath formed of a branch and an ear of corn: 5 CENTIMES (date) and around the 5 the (varying). GEM.22.P2 - KM.P359; Silver - 5 g - 17 mm - 6 o’clock Top Pop (3): this is the finest graded specimen! With its original case and certificate no. 43. NGC PF 67 CAMEO (8772187-030). Burnished (PROOF) blank with mirror-finish fields and matt reliefs. Only 50 copies minted. Very slight fingerprints and a light patina. Superb in mint condition.
