Obverse: A knight in armour, blowing a trumpet, on his unicorn mount facing right, with a partial hind leg. Below, an inverted bucranium. Cracks and chips reminiscent of an ancient bas-relief. Signed ‘SD’.
Reverse: VNICORNE DIONYSIAQVE / (signature) 1966 / THIS WORK BY SALVADOR DALI / WAS MINTED IN THE WORKSHOPS OF / THE PARIS MINT IN MARCH 1967 / ON BEHALF OF THE FRENCH MEDAL CLUB / THIS ISSUE BEING LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED / FIFTY SILVER COPIES OF THE HIGHEST FINE, NUMBERED FROM 1 TO 150 / COPY NO.
