GREAT BRITAIN
Henry V (1413–1422). Gold noble, class D ND, London.
Obverse: H - ENRICx’ DIx’ GRAx’ REXx’ ANGL'x Zx FRANC’x DN’Sx HIBx. The king standing in a ship’s hull with the shield and holding his sword aloft; (variant) on the shell.
Reverse: + IH’Cx AVTEM: TRANSIENS: PER: MEDIV: ILLORV'x IBAT. A leafed and fleur-de-lis cross bearing in its centre an angled quatrefoil containing an ‘H’ and flanked by four crowned leopards, the whole within an octalobe flanked by eight shamrocks.

Featuring a small broken ring as a distinguishing feature on the obverse. Ring and star to the left of the sword, small shamrock to the right of the shield. A cross with an initial in the centre. This specimen has seen very little circulation and has a beautiful golden patina. Superb in Proof condition.
