Obverse (variant) IACOBVS D: G: MAG: BRI: FRA: ET HIB: REX. Bust facing left, draped and armoured, head crowned with a laurel wreath; behind, XX.
Reverse. FACIAM - EOS IN - GENTEM - VNAM (variant). A divided and crowned shield, set upon a long cross which cuts across the legend.
