Burnished (PROOF) blank, struck as a medal. With a chip to the corner of the reverse. Minimal handling marks and scratches on the fields. Patina with golden-brown highlights in the inscriptions. Superb in Proof condition.
Bust by Thomas Pingo. The obverse inscription [GEORGIVS. III - DEI. GRATIA] “George the Third by the Grace of God” is continued on the reverse by the remainder of the title [M. B. F. ET. H. REX. F. D. B. ET. L. D. S. R. I. A. T. ET.
