George III (1760–1820). Farthing (1/4 penny) 1799, Soho, Birmingham.
Obverse: GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust facing right; below (date).
Reverse: BRITANNIA / * 1. FARTHING. *. Seated Britannia facing left, holding a trident in her left hand above a shield bearing the kingdom’s coat of arms and raising a branch with her right hand; behind her, a seascape with a three-masted ship; beneath the shield, a cartouche inscribed SOHO.

Variant with three berries in the crown. In its struck condition, with all the details of the obverse die cracks visible. A brown patina covers the original red colour. Mint condition.
