GREAT BRITAIN George IV (1820–1830). 2 sovereigns (2 pounds) 1823, London. Obverse: GEORGIUS IIII D: G: BRITTANIAR: REX F: D:. Bust of George IV facing left, with the signature J. B. M. below. Reverse: St George slaying the dragon, signature B.P.; in the exergue (date). S.3798 - KM.690 - Fr.375; Gold - 27.5 mm - 6 h NGC MS 62 (3899513-003). Retains its freshness, though there are a few scratches on the cheek and minor handling marks on the edges. A slight patina is forming. Superb in Mint Condition.
