GREAT BRITAIN Victoria (1837–1901). One cent bronze trial coin, burnished blank (PROOF) ND (1859), London. Obverse (at 6 o’clock) (pink) VICTORIA D: G: BRITTANIAR. REGINA F: D:. Bust facing left with a chignon, a headband and a laurel wreath in her hair. Reverse. Within a wreath formed of two laurel branches, with an inner border: ONE / CENT. P.2005 v.; Bronze – 4.35 g – 19 mm – 12 h From Baldwin’s Auction 80, 8 May 2013, lot 2420. NGC PF 64 (3962629-016). Burnished (PROOF) finish on a bronze or brass blank. Bust by L. C. Wyon. The fields are slightly tarnished with fingerprints. Superb in Proof condition.
