MDCCCXCVII. Veiled and crowned bust facing left; signature T. B. Reverse: LONGI / TVDO / DIERVM / IN / DEXTERA / EIVS / ET IN / SINISTRA / GLORIA. Young head of the Queen, above a laurel branch with 1837. Eimer 1817a – BHM 3506; Silver – 83.6 g – 55.5 mm – 12 h In its original red imitation-leather case inscribed with ‘1837–1897’ beneath a crown. With an iridescent grey patina. Superb, mint condition.
