Elizabeth II (1952–2022). Set (7 out of 8) from a VIP Proof set, comprising a half-crown, two shillings, a shilling (English and Scottish reverse designs), a sixpence, a halfpenny and a farthing, polished blanks (PROOF) 1955, London.
Obverse: + ELIZABETH· II· DEI· GRATIA· REGINA. Laureate bust facing right; signature MG.
Reverse: FID. DEF. and (denomination). Design featuring the denomination and (date).

On a burnished (PROOF) blank with a cameo effect (CAMEO). A rare set (the Threepence is missing), believed to have been struck for prominent figures, with only a handful of specimens produced each year. Mint condition.
