BRITISH HONDURAS George III (1760–1820). 6 shillings 1 penny overprinted on 5 francs bareheaded, Revolutionary Calendar ND (1810–1818) over [Year 13 (1805)]. Obverse: NAPOLEON – EMPEROR. Bare head facing right, below the signature ‘BRENET’ and ‘Tr’; square overprint with ‘GR’ beneath a crown. Reverse: FRENCH REPUBLIC. Within a crown formed of two branches: ‘5 FRANCS’. ; below (variant) AN (date) (mint). KM.3 on [G.580 – F.303, Paris]; Silver – 37 mm – 6 h Top Pop: this is the only graded specimen! NGC XF 40 (8410739-010). Even wear and centred strike, with a grey patina. Very fine, sharp and centred countermark. Rare.
